“Do What You Love | Your Career as a Journey” - Workshop with Architects

Last week I had the pleasure of running a workshop as part of the Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program in Washington DC – virtually from London thanks to modern technology!

The Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program (CKLDP) was founded in 2013 by the Emerging Architects Committee as part of the The American Institute of Architects (AIA)|DC Chapter with the aim of actively training and nurturing the next generation of leaders within the architectural profession. The annual programme is in memory of Christopher Kelley, an employee of Gensler and an active member of the DC architectural community.

I really appreciate the opportunity for having been part of this inspiring initiative and spending time with this engaged group of young architects.

In the 1 ½ hours workshop “Do What You Love | Your Career as a Journey” we discussed how to create an inspiring career vision and translate this into an actionable career development plan - exploring critical self-awareness, dreaming big and career planning with first actionable steps.

And finally special thanks again to Lilian G. Noya and Shamaly Alexander for reaching out and inviting me to be part of this year’s final session - and the lovely feedback! Much appreciated.
